Memorable day for young Joshna

Joshna Chinappa became the youngest and also the first women's champion from Tamil Nadu ...Joshna was profuse in praising the SRFI and national coach Cyrus Poncha for all the encouragement in the camp. ``What I have gained from the camp is to be focussed,'' she said and sure enough that was to pay rich dividends....

TN teenagers Vaidehi and Joshna enter womens national final

Vaidehi and Joshna enter final...Joshna had lost to Mekhala in early November in the Maharashtra Open. Since then much has happened. She, as also Vaidehi and nine others, including six boys, have been attending the coaching camp under coaches Cyrus Poncha and Gajendra Singh in preparation for the February Asian junior championship to be hosted here. ``I am certainly thankful to Squash Racquets Federation of India for arranging the camp. I certainly feel I have improved a lot'', Joshna was to say after what was one of her best wins in her career........
